Who we are
Geoid Technologies Ltd is a Kenyan geospatial company based at Aztec Business Park, Ruaraka, Nairobi. We build and operate the Kenya Precision Positioning Infrastructure Network (KePPIN) of CORS stations, deliver weather nowcasts and early warnings through SpatialX GeoMet, supply survey and drone equipment, and train the professionals who use it.
Our story
Over the years we have served contractors in construction, oil, gas and energy, government bodies, NGOs, survey firms, agricultural companies and learning institutions. Our team is factory and field-trained on every product we sell, so clients get calibration, support and training from the same people.
KePPIN extends that work into national infrastructure: a network of continuously operating reference stations that lets a single-receiver rover reach centimetre accuracy anywhere in coverage, without setting up its own base.
The same stations also watch the sky. From the water vapour GNSS signals pass through, our SpatialX GeoMet platform produces weather nowcasts and early warnings for heavy rain, storms and flooding, giving farmers, insurers, drone operators and disaster teams time to act.
Research, development and innovation
Research and development sits at the centre of how we work. Our in-house team builds the software behind KePPIN and SpatialX GeoMet, develops GNSS meteorology and survey automation tools, and designs new positioning and drone solutions for African conditions, protecting new inventions through patents.
