From real-time RTK corrections to drone mapping and weather intelligence —
everything Geoid Technologies builds and operates for Kenya's geospatial sector.
01
CORS RTK corrections
Real-time RTCM 3.2 corrections over NTRIP from 11 Kenya Precision Positioning Infrastructure Network (KePPIN) stations. A single rover gets RTK fixed corrections within about 50 km of a station, with no base station to set up or guard. Pay by the hour, day, week or month.
02
Survey equipment sales and hire
Authorised dealer for Kolida, Garmin, DJI, XAG, JOUAV, Autel Robotics, Bosch and Baofeng. We supply GNSS receivers, total stations, theodolites, levels, marine echo sounders and handheld GPS, and hire out land, hydrographic and drone survey equipment for short projects.
03
Calibration and repair
Factory and field-trained technicians calibrate, service and repair total stations, levels, theodolites and GNSS receivers, so your instruments stay within manufacturer specifications and your survey results hold up.
04
Drone mapping and data processing
Commercial drone missions under KCAA Remote Aircraft Operator Certificate No. 008, delivering orthophotos, elevation models, contours and volume reports. We also process drone data captured by survey firms into finished mapping products.
05
Drone pilot training
As a KCAA-certified Unmanned Training Organisation (UTO No. 007), we train pilots for the Remote Pilot Licence and teach surveyors how to plan, fly and process drone mapping projects.
06
Meteorology and weather intelligence
Every KePPIN station doubles as a weather sensor. The delay GNSS signals pick up passing through the atmosphere reveals precipitable water vapour (PWV), which climbs ahead of heavy rain. Our SpatialX GeoMet platform turns this into rainfall nowcasts, early warnings for storms and flooding, and flight-weather briefings for drone operations, with data feeds for agriculture, insurers and disaster-response teams. The method was validated in a nine-day Nairobi campaign in March 2026.
